Alli, what's the price of a new released movie in TO? Here's it was $11.50 plus GST...which isn't bad when you factor in how much everything else has gone up in price.

Mom are you talking about a DVD or going out to the theatre?
We usually buy the kids new releases instead of renting them. Renting them is $5.29 and you can buy them for $19.99. I know my kids /dayhome kids would watch them at least 4 times so it's more cost effective this way. Although we've run out of shelf space.

In Burnaby you can rent a DVD for $6.29, to go to the Theatre, the price varies, we do have a $2.00 theatre with AMAZINF popcorn, and the Theatre we usually go to is $7.95, but megaplex ( Silver City ) is aboyt $13.00/each. I refuse to pay that! I usually purchas movies.
